What is Flow?

Flow is the energy that runs our bodies. It’s the electricity in our system. It’s what makes our entire world run. Most of us believe that we have to create Flow. Most of us believe that being in Flow is difficult.

I’m here to tell you something else.

Staying in Flow is simple.

To stay in Flow, you simply have to change the story you’re telling yourself. We all tell ourselves stories. We say to ourselves, “Making money is hard. Finding a partner is difficult. I can never get what I want. I have to grind now and have fun later.”

These are all stories that we tell ourselves dozens of times a day. We tell them to ourselves so often they become beliefs. A belief is just a thought we think continuously.

If we want to get in Flow, we have to change our stories to ones that bring us relief instead of stress.

Here’s what I want you to do:

Change Your Story

When you become aware of a story you’re telling yourself that doesn’t make you feel good, see it as an opportunity to tell yourself a better-feeling story. You can do this by journaling and writing out what you want your story to be. Or, you can literally talk to yourself out loud and create a new story. Do this for ONE TO TWO MINUTES at a time, and you will see a huge difference in your life.

We attract into our lives what we are thinking, and stories are how we think the majority of the time.

Changing the stories you tell yourself will do 80% of the work. It’s the #1 thing you can change to see the biggest difference in your life almost immediately.

I hope this simple practical advice empowers you to take control of your life and begin creating a life that you enjoy.
