Collaboration over Competition
I’ve always been a competitive person. That competitiveness has drawn me to want to be the best at what I do. I want to be the best coach, the best writer, and the best poet. That competitive nature has always been inside of me, probably because I began playing basketball when I was 5 years old.
However, what I’ve realized is that collaboration is way more powerful than competition.
I mean think about it. When your favorite artist collaborates with a new artist, it puts them on the map. It gives them an opportunity.
THAT is why I want to be the best life coach in Orlando because I want to provide an opportunity.
My coaching career started in Orlando, and I hope that when my coaching career takes off, I’ll have the business savvy to take what I’m doing and give back to others. There are a few things I want to do in the future.
Some Goals In My Future
- Help life coaches become even better coaches.
- Give other coaches opportunities to get clients.
- Create courses for people to take whenever they want to.
- Teach writers how to publish books.
- Host a TED Talk-like event for spoken word poetry.
- AND MORE!
All these events have to do with coaching because what I’ve learned that, coaching itself is a skill, and I want to incorporate that skill into everything I do.
I’ll start here in Orlando, and branch out from there. If you’re reading this and you’re in Orlando and are resonating with this post, get in contact with me! If you are also trying to improve other people’s life coaching careers, let me know. Let’s collaborate!
Speak It Into Existence
I just wanted to list some people who motivate me that I want to collaborate with.
These are 3 people who I would love to work with.
Becoming the best life coach in Orlando, used to be due to my competitive nature, but I realized that wasn’t motivating me anymore. I want to be motivated by bringing people together, not by being in competition and separate from everyone.
We need less competition in this world and more collaboration.
We all want to be successful, and success means different things to different people. We look for success in relationships, in jobs, in anything. However, many find themselves coming up short to what they would deem "successful". When this happens, we usually aim...
"Trying" isn't a reality. The way we see trying right now doesn't make sense. We see it as the process of doing something. But in reality, we're either doing something or we're not. There's never a process in "trying". We create this grey area so that we can convince...
It's hard to tell our Truth. It's hard to open up to someone, especially if that person is close to us. Fear runs through us at the thought of resistance. The fear that the other person won't listen, or worse, will listen, disagree with what we say, halts us from...
